Take a breath and let this question land gently in your body. Imagine loosening the grip, even just a little, not holding the threads of every detail, not bracing against what might come or might go wrong. What arises in you when you picture that?
For many, there is an immediate sense of risk, that everything might collapse, that you might lose love, make a mistake, be rejected or even not survive. Often these fears are not logical, but visceral, woven into the nervous system from early moments when letting go led to chaos, betrayal or hurt. Control became a shield, a way to manage the unpredictable and feel safe in a world that once felt too big.
