Today, the Moon will move between the Earth and the Sun…
And for a few extraordinary moments, the familiar light will disappear into shadow.
A total Solar Eclipse will move across parts of our world… arriving as a New Moon in Leo, the sign of the heart, identity, visibility, creative expression and the courage to be fully seen.
Only days ago, we crossed the 8:8 Lion’s Gate threshold together…
And here in the mountains of Portugal, it became the magnificent culmination of Retreat Into Your Truth.
Seven souls gathered. Seven completely unique worlds entered the field.
And, in ways I am not sure words will ever fully hold, something profound was revealed within each of us.
Thresholds were reached.
Hidden truths came into the light.
And new possibilities opened that none of us could have fully anticipated.
These celestial configurations are not merely events occurring somewhere above us.
They move through the greater field of which we are all a part.
They gather our attention, amplify our intentions and awaken what is ready to rise within us.
And today’s Solar Eclipse offers us another extraordinary threshold.
A powerful meeting of the Sun and Moon…
Of light and shadow…
Of what has been visible and what has remained hidden.
What shifts above awakens within.
The eclipse opens a field of possibility in which an old identity can loosen… a deeper truth can emerge… and a new beginning can take root before we are even able to see its form.
But we are not passive beneath its power.
The eclipse opens the doorway…
And our presence allows us to cross it.
The heavens amplify the invitation…
And our willingness allows that invitation to become embodied change.
Perhaps this is why the invitation today is not simply to witness the portal opening…
But to recognise that you are an essential part of the portal itself.
And perhaps what this eclipse is asking us to leave in the shadows…
The Identity That Learnt To Perform
So many of us learnt, very early, to become someone in the eyes of others.
To read the room before we read ourselves.
To sense what was wanted… and become it.
To be pleasing enough.
Strong enough.
Successful enough.
Spiritual enough.
Helpful enough.
Beautiful enough.
Quiet enough… or extraordinary enough…
To remain loved, safe, accepted and chosen.
And slowly, often without ever consciously deciding to, we began to perform our way through life.
We performed confidence while fear trembled underneath.
We performed strength while our bodies begged us to soften.
We performed peace while entire worlds within us were waiting to be heard.
We performed who we thought we needed to be…
Until performing became so familiar that we mistook it for who we are.
But performance is exhausting, Beautiful Soul.
Because performance requires you to keep watching yourself from the outside.
Am I doing this correctly?
How am I being perceived?
Is this enough?
Am I enough?
Presence asks something entirely different.
Presence asks:
What is true here, now?
You Were Never Meant To Become Someone In Their Eyes
What if you no longer had to try to be someone in the eyes of others…
And could simply be who you are within your own heart?
What if life is not asking you to become more impressive…
But more intimate with yourself?
What if your power does not live in how perfectly you hold everything together…
But in how lovingly you can be with everything that is here?
Your joy.
Your fear.
Your tenderness.
Your uncertainty.
The part that knows.
The part that does not know yet.
The truth rising through your body before your mind has found language for it.
This is presence.
Not the absence of activation.
Not a perfect, permanently peaceful state.
Not another spiritual identity to perform.
Presence is the moment you stop abandoning yourself in order to manage the moment.
It is the moment you turn towards what is here and say:
I am here. I am listening. You do not have to disappear for me to stay.
Your Presence Changes The Field
There is extraordinary power in being present with what is.
When you are no longer using all your energy to suppress, control, anticipate or perform, you become available to yourself again.
You can hear the body.
You can feel the breath.
You can notice the tightening before it becomes overwhelm.
You can meet the frightened part before it takes over the whole field.
You can allow your nervous system to receive a new message:
I am no longer leaving you alone with this.
Presence does not force the body into regulation.
It creates the inner relationship through which regulation becomes possible.
Cell by cell…
Breath by breath…
Moment by moment…
The body begins to learn that it no longer has to scream in order to be heard.
And from there, something profound begins to change.
You stop reacting only to what has been.
You become available to what is.
And suddenly, what can emerge is no longer limited by the identity you have been trying so hard to maintain.
What If You Do Not Have To Know?
Perhaps one of the greatest performances of all is the performance of knowing.
The belief that we must have the answer.
The plan.
The perfect words.
The next step already mapped before life will meet us.
But what if you do not need to know what will be revealed?
What if you only need to trust that whatever is truly needed… will reveal itself when it is ready to be met?
This was one of the deepest truths that moved through our retreat.
We did not need to manufacture the miracle.
We needed to become present enough to recognise what was already asking to emerge.
What had been hidden in the depths came forward.
Not all at once.
Not in the same way for every soul.
But with a precision no performance could ever have orchestrated.
The field revealed what was ready.
Bodies revealed what they had carried.
Hearts revealed truths that could no longer remain hidden.
And presence created the space for each person to meet what arose in their own way.
You Can Cross The Threshold Now
Today’s eclipse is a powerful celestial threshold.
A darkening of the familiar light.
A sacred interruption.
A meeting of the Sun and Moon that draws the visible world into shadow… and invites what has remained hidden within us to come forward.
As this New Moon in Leo passes across the Sun, it awakens the heart of identity:
Who have I believed I needed to be?
What expression has been waiting beneath that identity?
What is now ready to be seen, created and lived?
This eclipse can illuminate, intensify and accelerate what is already asking to be transformed.
It can open a powerful space for an old identity to fall away and a truer expression of ourselves to emerge.
And we honour this celestial threshold most deeply when we meet it with our presence.
Because the eclipse may open the portal…
But we must be willing to walk through it.
The threshold is here each time you choose truth over performance.
Each time you choose to feel instead of flee.
Each time you stop becoming what the room requires… and remain connected to who you are.
Each time you meet the moment without abandoning yourself.
That is the portal.
That is the new timeline.
Not a distant life you must earn your way into…
But a new relationship with this moment.
A Solar Eclipse Invitation
As the Sun and Moon meet in this extraordinary eclipse, allow yourself to meet the threshold they are opening within you.
Take a beautiful, deep breath…
Feel yourself beneath the identities, expectations and performances you have carried.
Gently bring your awareness into your heart and ask yourself…
If I were completely free… who would I allow myself to be?
What would I love to create, experience or bring into this world?
What would become possible if I no longer needed anyone else’s permission?
And then… do not rush to find the answers.
Remain.
Listen.
Allow your heart to show you what your mind may never have dared to imagine.
Perhaps freedom is not about becoming someone new at all…
Perhaps it is the moment you stop shaping yourself around how you might be seen… and begin allowing yourself to be moved by what feels most deeply true.
To live from your heart.
To follow what feels alive.
To create from the truth of who you are… rather than performing for the acceptance of those around you.
Because beneath all the identities you once created to belong…
Beneath every version of you that learnt how to be loved, chosen or safe…
Your truest self has never disappeared.
You have been here all along…
Waiting for the moment you would stop asking the world who you should be…
And finally ask your own heart what it longs to live.
And perhaps this is the threshold before us now:
Not to become someone new…
But to become so deeply present that who we have always been is finally free to live.
